Tastefully speaking, Belgium is not only about beer and chocolate. Of course, there are lots of shops with hundreds of beer opportunities, as well as others with chocolates, but what I really want to share with everybody is the sweets’ variety.
I hope I didn’t picture the obvious this time, but the following:
First choice, waffles. For all tastes: simple, with sugar, with milk or white chocolate, nutella, caramel, fruits, whipped cream and much more. I am a huge fan of nutella and strawberries version so I was not tempted to test more. I can confirm the taste is great!
Cupcakes are not hard to find, either. This time I managed to resist, but the picture speaks for itself.
I found this chocolate shop in Brugges quite unique. Together with the usual bonbons, they also displayed these lovely sea shells filled in with various other delights. An interesting alternative for gifts wrapping, I would say, when the gift is hidden inside the shell.
Halloween themed sweets were waiting impatiently to be enjoyed. Pumpkin flavored or designed, I guess these can only be found this time of the year.
Looking forward to the Christmas time to add the thematic sweets pictures. Meanwhile, the getting ready for the celebration included shops selling related designs, as bellow, together with lovely decor ideas.
